These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) apply to all orders and services provided through the online shop Himalayan Agro Trade operated by Himalayan Agro Trade, Switzerland.
1. Scope of Application
These GTC apply to all purchases, orders, deliveries, and services concluded through the online shop Himalayan Agro Trade.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these GTC.
Himalayan Agro Trade reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The version valid at the time of purchase shall apply.
2. Offer and Products
The offer is directed to private and business customers residing in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
The products displayed in the online shop are available only while stocks last.
Product images, descriptions, ingredient information, nutritional values, allergy information, and packaging illustrations are for informational purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product. The information shown on the physical product packaging shall prevail.
3. Prices
All prices are displayed in Swiss Francs (CHF).
Himalayan Agro Trade reserves the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice. The price displayed at the time of ordering is binding.
Shipping costs, packaging costs, and possible additional charges are shown separately during checkout.
If a pricing error occurs, Himalayan Agro Trade reserves the right to cancel the order or contact the customer to correct the price before shipment.
4. Discount Codes and Promotions
- Discount codes may only be used once unless otherwise stated.
- Multiple discount codes cannot be combined.
- Discounted or promotional items are excluded from returns and refunds unless legally required.
- Discount codes cannot be applied retroactively after an order has been completed.
5. Conclusion of Contract
The purchase contract becomes valid once the customer submits the order and receives an automatic order confirmation email from Himalayan Agro Trade.
The automatic confirmation only confirms receipt of the order and does not guarantee product availability.
Himalayan Agro Trade reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, unavailable products, or other justified reasons.
6. Delivery and Shipping
6.1 Delivery Area
Himalayan Agro Trade currently delivers within:
- Switzerland
- Liechtenstein
International deliveries may be offered upon request.
6.2 Delivery Times
Orders are generally processed and delivered within 2–5 working days after payment confirmation.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:
- supplier shortages,
- customs procedures,
- public holidays,
- transport delays,
- high order volumes,
- force majeure events.
Customers will be informed if significant delays occur.
6.3 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on:
- package weight,
- product category,
- shipping method,
- frozen or special handling requirements.
6.4 Tracking and Delivery Responsibility
After shipment, customers will receive:
- An order confirmation email
- A shipment confirmation email with tracking information
Customers are responsible for monitoring the shipment tracking information.
If a package is delayed, missing, or damaged, customers must notify Himalayan Agro Trade within 24 hours after the expected or confirmed delivery.

6.5 Incorrect Address Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and correct delivery information.
Additional shipping costs resulting from incorrect addresses, failed deliveries, or refused acceptance shall be borne entirely by the customer.
7. Returns, Complaints, and Refunds
7.1 Inspection Obligation
Customers must inspect all delivered products immediately upon receipt.
Complaints regarding:
- damaged goods,
- spoiled goods,
- missing products,
- incorrect deliveries
must be reported within 24 hours after delivery.
7.2 Return Conditions
Products may only be returned if:
- they are unopened,
- unused,
- in their original packaging,
- and the expiration date remains valid.
For hygiene and food safety reasons, opened food products cannot be returned.
7.3 Refunds and Compensation
Himalayan Agro Trade generally does not issue cash refunds.
Approved complaints may be compensated through:
- replacement products,
- store credit,
- vouchers,
- or another suitable solution.
Shipping costs for approved returns may be covered only after prior agreement.
8. No Sale to Minors
The sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under 16 years of age and spirits to persons under 18 years of age is prohibited under Swiss law.
By placing an order, customers confirm that they meet the legal age requirements.
Himalayan Agro Trade assumes no liability for false information provided by customers.
9. Warranty and Liability
Himalayan Agro Trade distributes products manufactured by third parties and therefore cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, shelf life, or manufacturer warranties beyond statutory obligations.
Swiss statutory warranty regulations apply.
Himalayan Agro Trade shall only be liable for direct damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profit, delivery delays, or improper storage by the customer is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
10. Payment Methods

- Advance Bank Transfer
- Shopify Payments (if applicable)
Orders paid via bank transfer will only be shipped after full payment has been received.
If payment is not received within 14 working days, Himalayan Agro Trade reserves the right to cancel the order.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
